The client required some storage and display space for their collections and wanted a cabinet and surface behind their sofa. The sofa table was created and shaped specifically to fit the curve of the sofa. Fabricated in cherry wood the Designer also incorporated a beautiful woven leather inset top surface framed in matching cherry wood. The top surface was then covered in glass to preserve the leather. Space was at a premium in this Chicago Loft. The entertainment unit contains pull-out shelves for their current CD collection and also allows for ease of equipment operation. The unit required the ability to hold the weight of a future substantially larger television which had been ordered.
